Help Support Branch House This Giving Tuesday

Tuesday, November 30, is GivingTuesday! GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to come together through generosity in all its forms by sharing acts of kindness and giving their voice, time, money, goods, and advocacy to support communities and causes.  GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. We hope you will consider giving to Branch House (Sullivan County Family Justice Center) this GivingTuesday to help support victims of domestic and sexual violence in our community.

Here are 5 ways you can help Branch House this #givingtuesday:

1. Time & Skills – Become a volunteer or offer your specialized skills. Give us a call at (423) 574-7233 to request information about becoming a volunteer or offering your specialized skills.

2. Voice – Start by believing survivors of abuse and help reduce the stigma surrounding domestic violence and sexual assault.

3. Money – Support our mission by donating to Branch House at https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/BHDONATE?locale.x=en_US

4. Goods – Donate toiletries or new with tags leggings, shirts, underwear, and blankets, or hold a donation drive for us. These items are given in “hope and healing” bags to victims in need.
