Interpersonal Violence is abuse which occurs within a relationship between individuals. IPV can be physical, sexual, or emotional. The Power and Control wheel illustrates the many forms of interpersonal violence.

Advocacy Advocates are a integral part of the response to interpersonal violence. Advocates can answer questions, coordinate immediate and on-going resources, and assist in navigating the criminal justice system. Advocates can attend court hearings with you and ensure your rights are being upheld.
Orders of Protection An order of protection is court order signed by a judge to protects domestic violence and sexual assault victims from their abuser. It is free to file an order of protection, and Branch House staff can assist with completing and filing an order of protection.

Safety Planning Safety planning is essential to assuring you and your family remain safe when living in or escaping an abusive situation. Branch House staff can develop personalized safety plans to meet your needs and coordinate the resources you need to escape.
Counseling/Therapy Branch House's community partners provide individual therapy services to our clients.
Legal Assistance With help from our community partners, Branch House can coordinate civil legal assistance for clients.
